This template is used on a very large number of pages. To avoid large-scale disruption and unnecessary server load, any changes to this template should first be tested in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user space. This template is used internally by Template:Flag. It is not intended to be transcluded directly. It provides the formatting for placing a small flag next to a country name.
